HOW DO I BOOK MY WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY COVERAGE?

Yassss! First looks allow us to capture portraits before the ceremony, which frees up time between your ceremony and reception and allows your guests to wait the shortest amount of time possible before enjoying the reception. However, I strongly hold that your wedding day should be focused on you and your priorities, and I happily accommodate weddings that do not incorporate first looks. If you’re still undecided, my wedding guide gives more details about planning your first look and even gives potential timelines to show what a day could look like with or without a first look.

DO YOU RECOMMEND A BRIDE AND GROOM FIRST LOOK?

Yes, a nonrefundable 30% retainer fee is required to book your wedding date. This will be paid through your client portal and is due with the signed contract. The remainder will be separated into two separate 35% payments, with the second two payments due six months and one month before your wedding date.

IS THERE A DEPOSIT DUE TO BOOK?

There are no additional travel fees, tax or hidden fees that you can expect. The price you see is the final price. However, if there are any permits required for shooting at your desired location, the client will pay those.

IS THERE A TRAVEL EXPENSE?

Yes! I always set up a meeting with my brides 1-2 weeks prior to the wedding to iron out all of the last-minute details. However, I am happy to meet other times as well to ensure my brides feel entirely comfortable and well taken care of!

WILL WE MEET TOGETHER BEFORE THE WEDDING DAY?

It varies from wedding to wedding and session to session, but on average I usually end up delivering around 75-100 images per hour of shooting! So for a 10-hour wedding day, you'll get somewhere between 750-1000+ images. I'll never leave a good photo out just to hit a certain number and only eliminate ones that are repeats, have closed eyes, etc.

HOW MANY FINAL IMAGES WILL WE GET?

I recommend a second shooter for larger weddings (75+ people). It is an additional $450 unless your package includes a second shooter. The second shooter would stay the full 8 or 10-hour day (or longer if extra time is wanted/needed). Second shooters provide a second perspective for crucial moments like your first look, first kiss, and walking down the aisle. They also provide invaluable assistance in organizing family members, noticing details (like groomsmen wearing sunglasses or reminding the father-of-the-bride to take his cell phone out of his pocket!), and running to take care of small details during your day.

WHAT IF I WANT A SECOND SHOOTER?

Engagement sessions take 2-3 weeks, and weddings take 8-10 weeks, depending on the amount of photos being delivered. I try to get them back to you as soon as possible while making sure I meet the needs of every image. You will receive a sneak peek 48 hours after your wedding day!

WHAT IS YOUR TURNAROUND TIME?

My favorite question! Fo Sho!! Anywhere with a beach, mountains, land, air - I’m there! One of the best parts about living in Atlanta is that there is a massive international airport right at my doorstep. Finding flights for work (or fun) is a piece of cake. If you’re planning a destination wedding, we can jump on a call and talk more about the details. I'll then create an invoice for you based on our conversation.

DO YOU TRAVEL FOR DESTINATION WEDDINGS?

For destination weddings (outside of Georgia or the country), there is a $1300 travel fee added to the cost of the package to cover my travel time, flights, stay, food and any transportation such as uber or rental cars.  I also get there a day or two before the wedding to scout locations for us to use.
